Radegast is celebrating a unique success

15.4.2014 Radegast

„The Olympic Games among beer competitions“ – that is what they call the American beer prize World Beer Cup awarded in the USA every two years. This year, Radegast Premium ruled the category of pilsner type beers competing with 53 other samples from all around the world. The Gold Medal is heading to Nošovice. The World Beer Cup took place for the 10th time this year. In 2004, Radegast took home the Bronze.

„It is a great success for our beer. All Moravians should be proud. Radegast has stood apart from all other beers for its quality of bitterness for more than 40 years. I am pleased that its taste has its fans beyond Moravian borders. We are very proud of the Gold Medal but the most important recognition to us is that from Czech and Moravian beer lovers,“ said Ivo Kaňák, manager of the Radegast brewery.

With the Gold Medal from the World Beer Cup, Radegast achieved the „hat-trick“ of important beer prizes among lagers. In March, an expert jury awarded it a Silver Medal at the Pivex home competition and last year, it won the European Silver Medal at the European Beer Star.
