The most prized Christmas present at Prazdroj is beer

Beer for employees is a beloved benefit, and the current collective agreement at Plzeňský Prazdroj ensures that employees will receive 2,500 Kč (131.6 USD) worth of beer every year. This Christmas, the company will give its employees even more beer, which is not required by the collective agreement.

„This year was not easy for Czech beer makers. However, employee behaviour during hard times shows which company is good. With this beer as a present, we would like to thank all our employees at Prazdroj for their efforts and their positive approach towards their tasks,“ says Ivan Balogh, Director of Corporate Relations and Director of Human Resources at Plzeňský Prazdroj.

„During the holiday season we are also thinking of our employees who aren’t able to spend the holidays with their loved ones, because they have to take care of the non-stop operation of some parts of the production in the brewery, for example in the malt house. Every employee who falls into this category will receive a special package of food, so that they can have a symbolic dinner,“ adds Milan Koza, Manager of Employee Relations.

Prazdroj employees already received a bonus in the form of beer this year. As a  thank you for their great work and to remember the 40th anniversary of the Radegast brewery, they received Radegast Premium this summer.
