Prazdroj will give employees beer for their summer vacations

„This year, employees will take with them on their summer vacations 48 beers in cans which will be ideal for road trips. We chose to give them Gambrinus Excelent. We are happy that despite the difficult economic situation and the unfavorable development on the Czech beer market in the last years, we are still able to provide a number of benefits to our employees, which includes the most favorite benefit, beer. We want to continuously prove to our employees that Plzeňský Prazdroj greatly appreciates work done by its employees,“ stated Ivan Balogh, Director of Human Resources at Plzeňský Prazdroj.

The total value of all benefits per year which Plzeňský Prazdroj gives per employee is 17 thousand Kč (994.96 USD). Plzeňský Prazdroj gives yearly its employees besides gift certificates for beer, in the value of 2,500 Kč (146.32 USD), supplementary retirement insurance up to 6,000 Kč (351.20 USD), tickets to excursions at the Plzeňského Prazdroje breweries and contributes to mental and physical fitness by providing gift certificates for cultural and sporting events, which this year amount to 4,700 Kč (257.1 USD).

Employees from Prazdroj consider beer to be one of their most favorite benefits. On top of the amount, which is guaranteed by the collective agreement, beer for employees is prepared as a surprise, for example, during any of the brewery’s  anniversaries or to celebrate Plzeňský Prazdroj’s brands or success in prestigious tasting competitions. For example, in 2009 Gambrinus brewery celebrated its 140th anniversary of its founding and employees received 11° Excelent, which was then brand–new on the market. Last year, the Radegast brewery celebrated its 40th anniversary and employees savored Radegast Premium lager.
